Eamon Dungeon
Designer Disk v6.2 (DOS 3.3 version, Rev. 6/8/90)
This disk
contains the tools required to write, edit, and list DOS 3.3 Eamon adventures,
versions 4-6 (versions 1-3 are obsolete). To edit version 7.x Eamon adventures,
use ONLY the version 7 Dungeon Designer Disk; this 6.2 version will TRASH a 7.x
database. This upload is dosless, but the original was bootable; the first
program is the 'hello' pgm and has a startup menu.
This is the
set of programs required to generate, edit, & list DOS 3.3 Eamon database files.
It also contains all the programs needed to make an Eamon adventure from
scratch, and a 16-page instruction manual. Run the first program in the Catalog
for the main menu. You should probably print out the manual before trying
anything. You will find the companion adventure Eamon #162 to be very helpful-it
is a demo adventure that shows how things are done.
Eamon
'Graphics Main Hall' by Rick Volberding (DOS 3.3, Rev. 11/8/89)
This disk uses
a hi-res 'overhead view' display of an expanded Main Hall and a new 'village'
annex. This disk can be substituted for the standard Eamon Master disk and is
preferred by many Eamon players because of it has over a dozen shops from which
to buy equipment, get custom weapons made, receive training, gamble, and more!
This disk has no Dos. Run the program named HELLO after booting a disk with DOS
3.3, or make a bootable copy by copying all of the files onto a disk that has
DOS 3.3 on it.
This set of
programs extends the basic Eamon system to permit adventures that are too large
to fit on one disk. Contains two extension systems: a 2-disk system that permits
500 records and a multi-disk system that can handle infinitely large Eamon
adventures (the standard system accommodates up to 300 records). Includes
documentation.
EAG Eamon
Utilities Disk (DOS 3.3 version; revision date 6/25/95)
It contains a
couple dozen useful Eamon utilities that enable to you examine, modify, clean
up, and rearrange the databases. While mainly useful for Eamon authors and
spelunkers, it's also handy to have when repairing damaged text files. This
update contains a brand-new version 2.0 of UNIVERSAL CHECK FILES that can
properly verify =every= DOS 3.3 Eamon disk in the EAG List!
Eamon Dungeon
Designer Disk 7.0R (Sam Ruby Version)
This is a
special version of the Eamon 7.0 Dungeon Designer Disk. Sam Ruby modified it to
work with his unique Automated Combat & Encumberance (ACE) system. This is the
disk that you need to examine or change the data files in "Sanctuary".
